OUR WORK IN NUMBERS
We take to heart the work we do at Rosebud. We might seem like a small organization, and our efforts might seem small in the large scale, BUT IT IS STILL VERY IMPORTANT!
So, that is why we decided to measure it…
Overview
We have categorized the impact of our work under three main areas:
Community impact includes two of our main activities: offering sustainability education tours/field trips and volunteer opportunities for individuals and companies.
Recycling encompasses our efforts with plastic, glass, cardboard, metal, and organic material.
Conservation & agriculture refers to our efforts in reestablishing the native ecosystem in our site, including removing invasive plants and placing natives instead. It also refers to our efforts to grow food locally and with a sustainable approach.

Among these, we have planted: Live Oaks, Bald Cypresses, Sweet Bay Magnolias, Walter Viburnums, Marlberry bushes, and many more!

We have strong partnerships with local organizations like LYF inc. and Keep Pasco Beautiful. (Read more about the work with them on the links)
We have also provided volunteer opportunities for companies such as Santander USA and local businesses like the Sage Salon.

128 volunteers
Through our sustainability field trip program, we seek to educate and share about sustainability initiatives and practices.
In 2025, we have been visited by
